The low cost AA.
The Coxmate AA comes with plug in microphone, headband, battery charger, carry case, silicone grease and a mounting plate with waist band. This plate can be fitted into boat, or attached to waist band and worn by cox. Whilst simple to use it is well featured. There is large capacity rechargeable battery storage (8x 800mAh NiMH batteries). Sophisticated battery management increases battery life: the unit can be left permanently connected to charger, as it turns charger off once batteries are full. This avoids unnecessary degradation of batteries. The unit also provides a low level battery warning and charge full indication. It automatically powers down if speakers are not connected to avoid accidental flattening of batteries. The unit automatically retains the volume setting when turned off/on. There is short circuit protection of the speaker.
All connectors are fitted with protective caps.
Compatible with any of the Coxmate or Nielsen Kellerman speaker/harness systems

Ordering:
- The Coxmate AA -Kit includes the Coxmate AA controller, charger, microphone and carry case. For complete system add Harness/speaker kit.
- Choose harness/speaker kit for 4 or 8. Kits with seat sensors are also shown. These are only marginally extra in cost and are recommended if there is a chance you will use a controller unit with rate display in future.
