How To Get the Most Out of Twitter as a Coxswain

Rowing coxswains, like many other athletes can find advice and support online.  It’s easy to see that a real comradeship has developed between coxes across the globe and this has been heightened by social networks such as Twitter.  This begs the questions…how do you get the most out of twitter as a coxswain?

If you’re seeking inspiration on how to improve your coxing skills, Twitter can help you gain access to the advice of professional coxswains such as USA Olympic gold medalist Mary Whipple.  You can follow her regular updates under the name @9thseat.

A number of other tweeters offer tools and links to improve techniques, try following @row2k for consistent updates on rowing and coxing or just for a bit of entertainment on your favourite sport.

Whether you want support from a friendly tweeter or just to know that other people love coxing as much as you do, check out Twitter and have fun with it!  It can lead you to some great blog articles or sites associated with coxing and may even have led you to this one!
